MCACA Minigrant Funding Available for NW Michigan, Deadline 1/15/2017

TRAVERSE CITY — Limited funding is available through Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs minigrant program for artists and organiMCACA LOGO smallzations in Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee and Wexford counties. Deadline for applications in January 15, 2017 at mcaca.egrant.net.

Round 2 applications are being accepted through January 15, 2017 for Minigrant Arts Projects (up to $4,000) and Minigrant Professional and Organizational Development (POD) activities (up to $1,500). All minigrant projects and POD training must be completed between February 1 and September 30, 2017. Project applicants may include arts and cultural or community organizations, schools and municipalities. POD grants are open to artists, arts administrators and arts and cultural organizations.

All applications must be submitted by e-grant at mcaca.egrant.net.  Guidelines are available here, on the NorthSky Nonprofit Network website or by contacting regrant coordinator Mary Bevans Gillett at mgillett03@gmail.com.  Technical assistance is also available. Those selected for funding will be notified by February 1.

Minigrants are funded by the State of Michigan through the Michigan Arts and Cultural Affairs and administered through 10 regrant regions.  NorthSky Nonprofit Network is the regranting agency for Region 2. (Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee and Wexford counties.)
