MCACA ARTS Grants Open at mcaca.egrant.net

Workshops slated in Cheboygan 4/29, Traverse City 5/2 & Cadillac 5/3 for FY2017 Grant Opportunities

Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs (MCACA) is currently accepting grant and minigrant applications for the 2017 fiscal year. Workshops to outline MCACA LOGO smallthe various grant opportunities, guidelines, timelines and requirements are planned for Cheboygan (4/29), Traverse City (5/2) and Cadillac (5/3). All are free and open to all interested in attending.

Northern Michigan workshops include:

  • Cheboygan – Friday, April 29, 10:30 am at the Cheboygan Public Library (100 South Bailey St)
  • Traverse City – Monday, May 2, 1:00 pm at the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce (202 E Grandview Parkway)
  • Cadillac – Tuesday, May 3, 5:00 pm at the Cadillac Wexford Public Library (411 Lake St)
  • Additional workshops and technical assistance focused only on minigrants will be also scheduled during late June and July. 

Michigan nonprofit organizations, schools and municipalities are able to apply for arts and cultural projects taking place between October 1, 2016 and September 30, 2017. MCACA grant applications for Operational Support, Project Support, Capital Improvements and Arts in Education Residencies are due June 1, 2016.

Minigrants for Arts Projects and Professional and Organizational Development are due August 3, 2016. NorthSky Nonprofit Network is the regional regranting agency for Region 2 (Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, NorthSky Nonprofit Network LogoGrand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee and Wexford counties)
