NorthSky Nonprofit Network will be hosting four area workshop to discuss the Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA) Minigrant program, MCACA grant opportunities and guidelines for 2015 funding.  Workshops will be conducted by Mary Bevans Gillett, regrant coordinator for MCACA Region 2 which includes Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee and Wexford counties.

Grant training sessions are open to all interested in applying for funding.

• Petoskey: Friday, July 25, 9:30 – 11 am at the Crooked Tree Arts Center (461 E. Mitchell St, Petoskey, MI 49770).
• Traverse City: Friday, July 25, 1:30-3 pm at the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce Steelcase Meeting Room (202 E. Grandview Parkway, Traverse City, MI 49684)
• Cadillac: Monday, August 4, 9:30 – 11 am at the Cadillac Wexford Public Library (411 S. Lake St, Cadillac, MI 49601).
• Manistee: Monday, August 4, 1:30 – 3 pm at the Ramsdell Theatre (101 Maple St., Manistee, MI 49660)

In addition, MCACA will be hosting a grant information workshop in Gaylord on Wednesday, July 9, 1-4pm at the University Center (80 Livingston, Gaylord, MI 49735).
